Einen Monat nach Occupy Wallstreet schlagen AktivistInnen ihre Zelte vor der Börse in Ljubljana auf. Nach der anfänglichen Euphorie im gemeinsamen Protest prallt im Camp jedoch bald die große Idee der direkten Demokratie auf das konkrete Individuum: Risse tun sich auf, ähnlich jener im System, das die Demonstranten bekämpfen … Siniša Gačić dokumentiert das Geschehen anhand von einigen ProtagonistInnen, die trotz allem die Hoffnung auf eine andere Welt nicht aufgeben. A documentary about a group of people who lived in tents and protested against representative democracy and global financial capitalism in front of the Ljubljana Stock Exchange. But, after the initial euphoria, the idea of direct democracy collided with contemporary humanity, causing discord. The filmmaker’s observational camera plunges into the midst of the crisis and never looks away.
