BOLES
One day, Tereza, a prostitute, knocks on Filip’s door and asks him to write a love letter to her boyfriend Boles. Two weeks later, she returns and asks Filip to write a love letter to her in the name of Boles. Thus, Filip realises that Boles does not exist and refuses to write the letter.
GUARDIAN OF THE FRONTIER
In the summer, three girls go on a canoe trip down the Kolpa. They discover that the woods hide the border not only between Slovenia and Croatia, but also between the permissible and the forbidden and that it is the Guardian of the Frontier who draws the line. The first Slovenian film made by a female director is an uncompromising and expressionist portrait of an unhealthy society in a beautiful rural setting.
